WHAT IS A VEHICLE WRAP?
A vehicle wrap starts as a large sheet of adhesive backed vinyl that has been specifically designed for vehicles.  The vinyl is made with many varieties ranging in style, finish and colors from matte, satin (gloss), chrome, "carbon fiber" look, and more.  The most common reasons to wrap a vehicle are:

  • Full color change of a vehicle (options: matte, satin, chrome, "carbon fiber" and more)

  • Digitally printed design for graphics, photo and business branding needs

  • Accents can include a design on the running board or wrapping the hood, trim, roof, truck and spoiler for added effect

Recently with all the advancements in the industry vinyl textures have been added to the market! Now allowing Beach House Graphics to wrap your ride with a textures like leather, animal skin (snake, alligator, etc.) or even holographic & 3D films.

HOW MUCH DO VEHICLE WRAPS COST?
Every wrap is different, therefore the price heavy depends on the depth of the project.  There are three key variables in the cost:  square footage of the vehicle, style of material, and design time.  A full color change is the most costly due to the fact that we include covering door jambs, inner door frames, and sills.  This level of coverage is recommended for anyone looking to completely change their color, style or texture.  A partial wrap is great for clients with a smaller budget where we cover a portion of the vehicle, based on a customized design.
Beach House Graphics pride ourselves on being able to provide a vehicle graphic for almost any budget so before thinking it's not possible please call us at 386.256.0998.

NOTE:  Prices do not include removal of any previous vinyl.

DOES A VEHICLE WRAP DAMAGE YOUR PAINT?
With the proper installation and the right vinyl a wrap can actually protect your vehicle!!  However there is also a chance a wrap could damage your vehicle and here is how:

  • Poor installation can cause razor blade scratches

  • Wrong vinyl material such as a sign vinyl that does not have the proper adhesive and flexibility

  • Quality of paint on which the vinyl is applied too

HOW LONG DOES A VEHICLE WRAP LAST?

3M Material for vehicle wraps has a 6 to 10 year expectancy, however in Florida we recommend a wrap be replaced or removed between 4 to 7 years, depending on care of the film and stress from day to day road driving.  The longer the wrap remains on the vehicle, the more chance of paint or substrate damage. If it’s left on longer than recommended by the manufacturer, it may be difficult to remove, which could lead to surface damage.

WHAT TYPES/BRANDS OF VINYL DO YOU HAVE?

We typically don't stock much vinyl other than what is necessary for the current projects.  Since we work with such a diverse range of clientele with a wide array of tastes and style, we install just about every type of film on the market (3M, Avery, Oracal, Hexus, KPMF) you name it we've used it!

I LONG DOES A VEHICLE WRAP TAKE TO INSTALL?

The turn around time for a vehicle wrap can be as short as one week from green light on the final proof.  Depending on the complexity stripes, graphics, accents you will be without your vehicle is between 24 - 48 hours.  For vehicles coming in for a full color change with door jams it will take considerably longer.  If you are on a deadline, just let us know what the time frame is and we'll factor it in when we set up wrap.

DOES MY VEHICLE NEED TO BE CLEAN BEFORE I CAN WRAP IT?

Most definitely!  Dirt and contaminants on your exterior would be trapped under the film, posing greater harm to your paint and eventually causing your wrap to fail if they were not cleaned off before installation.
